Here's Carl Balestracci with the granite from the Stony Creek quarry that will soon become our new WWII memorial on the Guilford Green. The granite will make its way to Boston to be cut into three pieces and smoothed for the engraver. It will then return to the quarry in Stony Creek to be polished. Then, Shelley Bros. will have the task of engraving the names of the 16 men from Guilford who lost their lives in WWII.

Here is the granite on its way to Boston.
