When you are thinking about our project, remember that the V.F.W. is more than a hall to rent for parties. We are a group of veterans in your community who were fortunate enough to have a place to go when we came home from serving our country. It is important to remember that there are a lot more veterans returning home every day and we want them to have the same benefit of our friendship and experience that we had from those who greeted us at the door of the V.F.W. when we came home. We can assist them in making sure they get all the benefits they earned by serving their country. Beyond that we are looking forward to having an even nicer place to share with the youth groups and other organizations that we welcome to our hall now. We hope that you see fit to do what you can to help us to build a building that will serve us and many others in our community.
