Merrill "Chip" Stone was our first Post Quartermaster and our second Commander. He was very involved in the Post for years and has since retired to Florida. He was very helpful in getting us these pictures of himself and of his brother Bill Stone for our website. He recalls when asked about the begining of the Post "I do recall that we had our first meetings at the old Guilford High School building, later owned by The Shore Line Times".
